     卡片 录音带  图片 学生用文具
教学过程:
一、复习检查
  1、复习“集中识词”(巩固上节课识词的单词,加深印象,逐渐形成永久记忆)
师出示单词卡片,让学生一个一个读.
  2、出示第一课生词(重点掌握第一课单词,使学生加深印象直至背熟)
用开火车的方式让学生读单词
二、学习新课
  1、出示一些文具用品,如:pen,pencil,book,pencil-box,and so on.( 复习文具用品,为学习新知打下伏笔)
  2、学习新词“dictionary,ballpen ,eraser”(利用实物学习新单词,既直观又形象,学生也很容易记忆)

TEACHER
Teachers are professionals who work in schools,colleges and universities.They try their best to help their students obtain new knowledge and become useful people in society.Teachers e involves in many tasks,such as ordering books,explaining lessons,giving homework and correcting papers.At the age of every term,they give grades to their students,too.Actually teachers do more.Often their impact on students stays all through their lives.
SURGEON
Surgeons,like teachers,are also professionals.They are a special king of doctors who operate on sick people and repair the organs that no longer work properly.Hospitals are their work places.After the operation,a surgeon orders medicine and watches the patients until they are well.The skills of a surgeon sometimes mean the difference between life and death.
SECRETARY
A secretary is a person who writers letters,answers the telephone,and receives(greets) people.She stores information in a computer and files away papers.A secretary stands between her boss and the visitors; she also helps the boss to plan his time and finish his work.Almost without exception girls are favoured over boys as a secretary.
BUSINESSPERSON
A businessperson usually works in an office,where he/she plans business activities and prepares reports.He/she also goes to mettings and discusses problems with his/her business partners.He/she works at buying,selling,and producing things he/she usually does not work by himself/herself,but must hire workers to help him/her.People often think a businessperson gets rich quick.But ,in fact,for every coin of their hard-earned money,they have spent a lot of time and effort.
CHEF
A chef works in a hotel or in a restaurant.He is the person who plans the meals,buys the food,and cooks the meals.His helpers cut vegetables and prepare meals before he starts cooking.They cooperate well.People often go to restaurants for dinner,where they meet relatives or friends.As restaurants become more popular,chefs grow ever more important.
FASHION MODEL
Fashion models wear the newest styles of clothes and show them to us through television,newspapers and magazines.Fashion show programmes usually have a large audience.When people see fashion pictures in newspapers and magazines,they may want to get the sane king of clothes these fashion models wear.Fashion pictures are also collected in books.Often the clothes and hairstyles worn by fashion models seem strange to us.A lot of young people,however,may discover their idols among them.
